Job Description
Laurel Links is seeking an experienced and dynamic Food and Beverage Manager to oversee all aspects of food and beverage service throughout the Club. This includes food and beverage service at the Main Dining Room, Bar and Grille Room, Pool house, Halfway House, Snack Bar at the Driving Range, and event operations. This role is responsible for delivering an elevated, consistent and personalized member dining experience that reflects the Club's standards. This role requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. We're seeking a dedicated professional who excels in a team-oriented atmosphere and is driven to uphold the highest standards while delivering an outstanding experience to our members and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all daily operations of all food and beverage outlets including a la carte dining, bar service, and events.
- Lead, train, schedule, and motivate front-of-house staff to ensure top-tier service and professionalism.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and culinary team to ensure seamless communication between front and back of house.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and service in all food and beverage areas including at the Pool House, Halfway House and Driving Range Snack Bar.
- Create and manage department budgets, labor costs, and inventory controls to meet financial goals.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
- Manage member and guest relations by addressing concerns, accommodating special requests and gathering feedback for continuous improvement,
- Participate in planning and execution of Club events, member activities and special functions.
- Maintain accurate POS systems and ensure correct billing and reporting.
Candidate Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a private club, fine dining, or luxury hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
- High attention to detail and commitment to service excellence.
- Knowledge of wine, spirits and beverage trends.
- Proficient in restaurant and club management systems preferred.
- Availability of working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- ServSafe and Tips certifications.
