RN Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide clinical leadership, coordinate resident care, and ensure the highest standards of nursing practice throughout the facility.

Key Duties Include:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care plans

  • Provide direct nursing care and clinical oversight for residents

  • Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and other nursing staff

  • Administer medications, treatments, and physician-ordered interventions

  • Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians and interdisciplinary team members

  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations

  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation

  • Participate in admissions, discharges, care conferences, and resident assessments

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, therapists, social services, and family members

  • Promote resident safety, quality of care, and positive clinical outcomes

  • Serve as a leader and resource for the nursing team

Qualifications

Required:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

  • Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Montana

  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and leadership skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Preferred:

  • Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, post-acute care, subacute care, memory care, or geriatric nursing

  • Knowledge of care planning, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance practices

  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
