Fulfillment Specialist

POSITION TITLE: FULFILLMENT SPECIALIST

REPORTS TO: PRODUCTION MANAGER

TYPE & LOCATION: FULL-TIME HOURLY POSITION. LAUREL FOODS FACILITY, HILLSBORO, OR.

POSITION SUMMARY: Laurel Foods is a growing value-added food processing company located in the fertile Willamette Valley of Oregon, owned by a significant Oregon Hazelnut grower and processor. We specialize in a variety of Premium Oregon Hazelnut products, both in bulk and in consumer-packaged goods. Our 28,000 square-foot facility is in the rural farming community of Laurel, Oregon - just south of Hillsboro. We strive to make the highest quality products that look and taste great. The company is looking for a Fulfillment Specialist to assist in all aspects of the fulfillment process. The Fulfillment Specialist will be responsible for the full process of all order fulfillment.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

· Excellent communication skills.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality.

· Ability to read, write, and understand English (without an interpreter).

· Able to work at a desk for extended periods of time. Able to lift 25 pounds without assistance.

· Comfortable with computers and software.

· Must be willing to work at the facility in rural area south of Hillsboro.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· 3 years of Fulfillment/Production experience required.

· Proficient in Microsoft Suite of Tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).

· Prior experience with ERP/MRP systems.

· Experience with Food Production and following GMP’s.

DUTIES of the ORDER FULFILLMENT / PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE include:

· Control fulfillment process from order entry to shipment.

· Pick and pack orders for shipment from small boxes to full pallets.

· Create shipping labels and package shipments of various sizes.

· Schedule pick-ups for FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc. when needed.

· Ensure inventory accuracy by using the company’s MRP system correctly.

· Assist in general production (including cleaning) on an as-needed basis.

· Follow proper GMP procedures while maintaining a clean production area with the team.

COMPENSATION: This is a full-time hourly position starting at $21.00 - $25.00 Depending on Experience. Pay periods are bi-weekly.
