Responsibilities:
- Lead informative and lively guided tours through cave systems, highlighting geological information and human history.
- Ensure the safety of all visitors by enforcing safety protocols and monitoring group behavior throughout the tour.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
- Manage time effectively to conduct scheduled tours punctually while maintaining a relaxed and engaging pace.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain the visitor center and overall cleanliness of the tour area.
- IMPORTANT: Must be able to make the trip 17 stories underground and back up again, up to 5 times a day. This is roughly 150 stairs and a very steep slope.
Experience
- Prior experience in public speaking, teaching, or guiding groups is highly desirable.
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are a strong plus, enabling effective communication with international visitors.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage groups confidently.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle diverse visitor needs professionally.
- Effective time management skills to ensure smooth tour operations.
