- Assist in managing day-to-day property operations, including leasing activities, rent collection, and maintenance coordination
- Support lease administration processes, including data entry into Yardi or OneSite property management systems and preparing legal documents
- Collaborate with leasing agents to upsell available units and promote community amenities to prospective tenants
- Ensure compliance with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) requirements, Fair Housing laws, Section 8 regulations, and other relevant legal standards
- Handle tenant inquiries via phone and in person with professionalism and courtesy, maintaining excellent customer relationship management
- Assist with conflict management between residents or vendors by applying negotiation skills and conflict resolution techniques
- Maintain accurate filing systems, manage contracts, and support legal administrative tasks related to property management
- Support facilities management activities including property maintenance coordination and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) updates
- Contribute to data entry, filing, and recordkeeping efforts to ensure smooth administrative workflows
- Proven experience in real estate administrative roles or property management support functions
- Familiarity with Yardi, OneSite, or similar property management software platforms
- Knowledge of LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing regulations, Fair Housing laws, and landlord-tenant law
- Strong customer service skills with excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities
- Experience in lease negotiations, contract management, and upselling strategies
- Office experience including data entry, filing, and document preparation
- Ability to handle conflict effectively through negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of facilities management practices and property maintenance procedures
- Legal administrative experience is highly desirable for ensuring compliance and supporting legal documentation
