As a Substitute Teacher at LCPCS, you will step in to maintain classroom continuity and provide engaging instruction across various subjects when the regular teacher is absent. Key Responsibilities
- Implement lesson plans provided by the absent teacher effectively.
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and respectful classroom environment, adhering to school policies.
- Manage student behavior in accordance with LCPCS expectations.
- Take attendance and follow all school procedures and schedules.
- Provide instruction in core subjects including Mathematics, Reading/Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies.
Required Qualifications & Daily Pay Rates
Compensation for Substitute Teachers is paid at a daily rate based on the class for which they qualify. The minimum requirement for this role is a Bachelor's Degree (qualifying for Class II or III), along with proven classroom management skills.
