LaundryMaids is searching for a Part Time Laundry Driver to support the daily logistics operations for LaundryMaids.
As a Laundry Driver, you are responsible for driving the routes for pick-up and delivery laundry orders. The ideal candidate will be responsible for meeting all standards and procedures connected with the company’s laundry vehicles, maintain an image of professionalism while driving/handling the vehicle and when interacting with our customers.
The Laundry Driver is also expected to assist the laundry team with all related laundry tasks.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Transport laundry to/from assigned destinations using a company vehicle.
- Inspect company vehicles for damage and cleanliness
- Perform daily checks on the company vehicles such as tire pressure, fluid levels, etc. and address any issues.
- Document all vehicle incidents (i.e., damages, accidents) and provide reports of incidents to the manager/supervisor.
-Follow all company policies and procedures
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
- Perform Laundry Attendant duties as needed when there are no scheduled pick up/drop off trips.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all laundry equipment and how to use them.
- Maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information
- Protect company assets.
- Communictae with other team members in a professional manner.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; identify, recommend, and implement new ways to increase organizational quality.
- Comply with the company's environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in a similar role is preferable
Must have a valid Driver's License and be well-versed with Texas State traffic laws.
Be able to speak English
Understanding the job, taking responsibility, being adaptable, have teamwork.
Must be able to stand for prolonged periods.
Possess the ability to lift 50 - 70 pounds with regularity.
