Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service while ensuring that all areas of the laundromat are clean, organized, and well-maintained. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere and enhancing the overall customer experience. We are looking to fill our Monday and Wednesday 6:45AM to 2pm shift and a rotating 6:45AM to 2pm weekend shift.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with their needs, ensuring a high level of customer service.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Process laundry orders with customer preferences.
- ability to make sound judgments and decisions based common sense.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Launder and dry clean clothing, linens, towels, and other items as required, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Clean and maintain designated areas, ensuring they are tidy and presentable at all times.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting low stock levels.
- Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the facility.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is preferred.
- Strong cash handling skills with experience operating cash registers.
- Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Experience in hotel operations or similar environments is a plus.
- Must be detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively.
- A commitment to providing outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.
