Laundry Service Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Service Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and proper handling of laundry items to maintain the highest standards of hygiene and presentation. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and efficiency are essential. Prior laundry service (Wash, Dry & Fold) experience is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn.

Duties

• Operate laundry machines and equipment efficiently to wash, dry, and fold laundry
• Sort laundry items according to type and cleaning requirements
• Ensure all laundry is cleaned to the highest standards of hygiene and appearance
• Handle delicate items with care, including following custom instructions when necessary
• Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area and ensure proper storage of clean orders
• Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of shortages
• Follow safety procedures related to equipment operation
• Support other housekeeping functions as needed
• Hire, train and motivate team of laundry service attendants and drivers

Experience

• Previous experience in laundry services, preferably within a laundromat, hotel or hospitality setting, is preferred
• Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning processes
• Familiarity with cleaning supplies and safety protocols related to laundry operations
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and efficiency
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

This role is ideal for individuals who are organized, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Prior laundry experience or familiarity with wash & fold processes will be considered an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
