Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their laundry needs, providing friendly and professional service.
• Operate and monitor laundry machines, ensuring they are functioning properly and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of the laundromat, including washing stations, folding areas, and surrounding facilities.
• Handle cash transactions accurately at the cashier station, including cash handling and basic math for daily balancing.
• Assist customers with machine operations or troubleshooting issues to enhance their experience.
• Perform routine cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold health and safety standards.
• Restock supplies like detergents, fabric softeners, and change machines as needed.
• Follow safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals or operating machinery to prevent accidents.
• Manage customer inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring a positive and welcoming environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is highly desirable.
• Basic knowledge of laundry processes, dry cleaning, or related services is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with an energetic attitude and positive communication style.
• Ability to perform cleaning duties diligently and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction balancing.
• Experience with cashiering systems or cash handling procedures is preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting laundry baskets or cleaning equipment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 32 per week
