Job Summary
LaunchPad Learning Center, LLC is seeking a passionate and engaging Learning Facilitator to support student learning, academic development, and enrichment programs. The Learning Facilitator will guide students through structured learning activities, provide academic assistance, and create a positive and motivating learning environment.
In this role, you will work directly with students to reinforce key academic concepts, support homework completion, and encourage critical thinking and confidence. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with youth, mentoring students, and making a meaningful impact through education.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate engaging learning sessions for students in individual and small group settings
- Provide academic support in subjects such as reading, writing, math, and homework assistance
- Support curriculum implementation and structured learning activities
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to help students improve academically
- Assist students with study strategies, time management, and organizational skills
- Maintain a positive classroom environment and effective student engagement
- Collaborate with leadership and team members to support program goals
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding student progress when needed
- Support enrichment programs, workshops, and special learning activities
Qualifications
- Associate Degree (AA / Applied Associate Degree) – Desired
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA) – Preferred
- Experience working with students, youth programs, tutoring, or educational environments preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to explain concepts clearly and support different learning styles
- Strong organizational and classroom management skills
- Ability to work with students in a supportive, patient, and encouraging manner
- Basic familiarity with educational technology or digital learning tools is a plus
