Base Salary: $75,000 | On-Target Commission: $75,000 | Total OTE: $150,000
We're looking for a high-performing sales professional to join our partnerships team for the podcast This Week in Startups. The position is in person in Austin, TX.
What You'll Do
- Sell packages that include podcast sponsorships, branded content, and short-form video clips to SMBs and enterprise clients
- Identify new leads across industries and build strong relationships that convert into long-term partnerships
- Maintain and grow a pipeline of both inbound and self-generated outbound opportunities
- Collaborate with the marketing, production, and content teams to deliver solutions that align with client goals
- Track activity, forecasts, and deal progression in our CRM
- Meet and exceed quarterly sales targets with a strong focus on revenue growth and customer satisfaction
Skills Required
- Minimum five years of B2B sales experience, ideally in media, content, or podcast partnerships
- Proven track record of exceeding quota in a closing role
- Deep understanding of integrated media sales
- A hunter mindset: proactive, curious, and energized by new business development
- A gatherer mindset: skilled in upselling and deepening existing accounts
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to speak fluently with marketers, decision-makers, and C-level execs
- Must be located in Austin, TX and available to work in-person daily
