Adult Recreation Group Facilitator
Part Time: 3-7 hours/week. Tues 5:30p-8:30p, Fr 6-9 OR Sa 9:30a-2:30p (once or twice/month)
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $19.00 hourly
Are you passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities to make friends and enjoy social activities? Join the LAUNCH team as a Recreation Group Facilitator! You will be providing an avenue for individuals who often don’t get to experience all our community has to offer by accompanying them to sporting events, festivals, bowling and many other recreational activities. We are looking for a proactive employee to facilitate and provide both recreational and social opportunities to group members.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting individuals at activities and encouraging social interaction.

Education & Experience
High school diploma plus experience working with individuals of various disabilities, preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Required skills include: active listening and effective speaking, time management, critical thinking, basic technology/e-mail, reading comprehension, effective written and verbal expression.
Conditions of Employment
Must possess a valid driver’s license and transportation necessary to meet program needs and pass background checks.
Salary : $18 - $19
