What You Will Do
As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for addressing customer concerns about their boats and advising on the best course of action. Other responsibilities include:
- Preparing repair orders and providing accurate estimates of repair/maintenance costs
- Communicating with technicians in regards to repair orders
- Following up on repair/maintenance progress with customers and notifying when work is complete
- Reviewing and explaining repairs/maintenance and associated costs with customers
- Submitting and managing warranty claims
- Working with the Parts Manager to ensure parts are ordered for repair orders
- Providing customers with a positive experience and ensuring their satisfaction
- Generating and upselling service work to drive revenue to the Service Department
- Communicating effectively with the Service Manager
Pay
Pay is DOE (dependent on experience).
Requirements
Prior experience working in the marine industry as an advisor, or a similar role is preferred. All applicants must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Other requirements include:
