What are the responsibilities and job description for the Venture Partner — Corporate Innovation position at Launch Factory?
Launch Factory is a venture fund and studio that partners with Fortune 500s and large corporates to find market gaps, validate new business concepts, and jointly launch ventures — fast, and without the typical corporate red tape. Engagements include one of the top 5 Automotive OEMs and other publicly traded companies.
We're looking for a Venture Partner to help us open doors and activate relationships inside corporate innovation, strategy, and new venture teams. This is not a cold-call SDR role. It's a senior, relationship-driven function for someone with an established network.
What you'll do
· Generate and nurture leads for our corporate engagements (innovation sprints, customer discovery, MVP development, venture creation).
· Activate your existing network through warm introductions to Chief Innovation Officers, Heads of Strategy, Corporate Venture leads, and New Business / R&D executives at large enterprises.
· Run targeted outreach campaigns into enterprise accounts — owning the top of funnel from first conversation through handoff to our leadership team for scoping.
· Help us build a repeatable corporate-channel motion so growth isn't dependent on one-off relationships.
· Represent Launch Factory at relevant industry conferences, events, and networking forums.
Who you are
· 10 years in business development, enterprise sales, management consulting, corporate venture, or innovation consulting — with a real, current network of senior corporate decision-makers.
· You've sold (or bought) strategic services into Fortune 1000 companies — innovation, strategy consulting, venture building, or similar.
· You understand how corporate innovation budgets actually get unlocked and who needs to be in the room.
· Self-directed, entrepreneurial, and comfortable operating on commission. You'd rather own outcomes than collect a base.
· Bonus: existing relationships in automotive, consumer goods, home services, energy, or industrial sectors.
Compensation
· Pure commission / percentage of project revenue on deals you originate. Project engagements typically run six-figures, with strong upside on multi-phase corporate programs.
· Structure is negotiable based on involvement (lead gen only vs. full deal ownership).
