Venture Fellow, Summer 2026 — Launch Factory
Launch Factory is a San Diego-based venture studio and pre-seed/seed fund investing in vertical AI across healthcare, fintech, proptech, and defense/dual-use. We back AI-native founders building defensible companies in industries the incumbents can't move fast enough to defend. We also build companies from scratch alongside our corporate partners.
We're hiring a Venture Fellow for Summer 2026 to work directly with our investment team and studio operators.
What you'll do
- Source and evaluate vertical AI companies across our four verticals
- Run diligence: customer calls, competitive analysis, market sizing, model risk
- Draft investment memos and contribute to investment decisions
- Support portfolio companies on GTM, hiring, and fundraising
- Help shape new studio companies from thesis through formation
Who you are
- AI is part of your day-to-day. You're always playing with new tools as they ship — Claude, Cursor, Perplexity, n8n, whatever's next week. You don't just use them; you build with them.
- You can hold a thesis and pressure-test it in the same sentence
- You have a point of view on at least one of our verticals and can defend it
- You write clearly and concisely. No fluff
