Lead Infant Toddler Teacher

Launch Enrichment is looking for a caring, dependable, and experienced Infant & Toddler Teacher to join our team!

We are seeking an educator who understands the unique needs of infants and toddlers and is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment. The ideal candidate will be confident in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities and lesson plans while working collaboratively with our teaching team. This is a unique position as this candidate will also be the closing teaching assistant director the last 2 hours of each day and will act as the assistant director on duty when the director is unavailable.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of professional childcare experience in an Illinois licensed center
• Experience working with infants and toddlers and a strong understanding of their developmental needs
• Ability to create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities
• Strong communication skills with children, families, and fellow staff members
• Ability and willingness to work as part of a team
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Development, or a related field is required
• Current CPR & First Aid certification
• Must meet Illinois DCFS background check and fingerprinting requirements
• Reliable, responsible, and committed to providing high-quality care and education

Schedule:

Monday–Friday

• 8:00/8:30 AM–5:00/5:30 PM
• Some flexibility with scheduling is required based on classroom and center needs.

Starting Pay $20/hr

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children, takes pride in their classroom, and understands that infants and toddlers learn through meaningful interactions, routines, play, and exploration.
