Job Title: Product Manager

Duration: 2 Year Contract

Location: Sacramento, CA

Local to CA and any CA Government experience must

Mandatory Quals:

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in each of the following:

1. Applying Product Management principles, methods, techniques, and tools. At least three (3) of the five (5) years as a Senior Product Manager of one or more large and complex information technology projects.
2. Working as a product manager on medium to large digital initiatives for public and private organizations.
3. Working with agile development methodologies in iterative development environments (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
4. Conducting market research and competitive analysis.
5. Defining product vision, strategy, and roadmaps aligned with business goals.
6. Prioritizing features based on customer value, business impact, and technical feasibility.
7. Managing product backlogs and sprint planning.
8. Creating clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and product requirements.

Desirable

1. Minimum of five (5) years of experience delivering stabilization, modernization or digital transformation initiatives within complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
2. Minimum of five (5) years of experience incorporating organizational change management principles into product delivery.
3. Minimum of five (5) years of experience applying product management practices in public sector or highly regulated environments.
4. Possession of a valid and current *Agile Certification (Examples include Certified Scrum Master, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, Professional Scrum Master I, AgilePM Foundation).
