Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. Open positions are for the NIGHT shift (10PM-6:30am). The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in our facility, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas.
- Conduct industrial cleaning procedures to maintain high standards of hygiene in commercial settings.
- Buff and polish floors to ensure they are well-maintained and presentable.
- Manage custodial duties in a commercial environment, adapting to the specific needs of each space.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, ensuring all areas are safe and functional.
- Maintain supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or malfunctions promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and polishing.
- Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting and moving equipment as necessary.
