Preschool Teacher
Job Summary
The teacher is responsible for the care and education of a group of children as a part of a teaching team. The teacher plans and implement the curriculum and work with parents and assesses the need of the individual child.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Prepare weekly lesson plans
- Develop activities that introduce math and literacy concepts
- Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social need of the children in the program
- Supervise children at meals and during recess
- Ensure facility is clean and well maintained and safe at all times
- Communicate effectively in a manner that children understand
- Provide positive guidance
- Ensure that children are supervises at all times
Qualifications and Skills
- Must have 12 units or more in early childhood development
- Must be finger printed or have clearance number from licensing
- Must have physical and tb test and the required immunizations
- Must have cpr and first aide card
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Muat have mandated child abuse certificate
- Must have Rubella shot and Pertusis shots
- Must have 3 units in Infant /Toddler
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Experience:
- Early Childhood Education: 1 year (Preferred)
- Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
