Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Marketplace & Medicare Independent Agent located in Portland, OR. The Independent Agent will assist clients in exploring, selecting, and enrolling in Marketplace and Medicare insurance plans. Daily responsibilities include conducting policy reviews, maintaining client records, providing expert advice on insurance products, and staying informed of policy changes and updates in the health insurance industry. The agent will also develop and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met with tailored solutions.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in Marketplace and Medicare insurance plans
- Proficiency in client communication, customer service, and maintaining client relationships
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
- Ability to stay updated on regulatory changes and industry trends
- Valid health insurance license or willingness to obtain one promptly
- Proficient in using insurance software and tools
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Sales experience in the insurance sector is a plus
