Job Title: Office Administrator
Location: Laughlin Children’s Center – Sewickley, PA
Reports To: Director of Finance
FLSA Status: Exempt | Full-Time, On-Site
Salary Range: $40,000-$48,000, commensurate with experience
Laughlin Children’s Center empowers children with the skills they need to be successful in life. We fulfill this mission through academic and clinical services for children ages 2 to 18, including dyslexia tutoring, speech-language therapy, occupational therapy, and psychological services. A respected nonprofit with a long-standing legacy in Western Pennsylvania, we have a history of positively impacting the lives of children and families.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable/Receivable specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate would also have experience in administrative operations to support the overall needs of the organization as well.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts as needed primarily through our medical records systems.
- Create and maintain invoices and enrollment agreements.
- Maintain client refunds.
- Support financial aid process and manage supporting documents.
- Assist with collections when necessary, ensuring a professional approach to client communication.
- Maintain office supplies to support the staff and overall organization.
- Periodic collaboration with other departments such as academic programming, insurance coordinators and Director of Finance.
- Maintain accurate and organized filing systems for both AP and AR documents.
- Supervisor to front desk receptionists.
- 5 Years experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Proficiency in Advanced MD and QuickBooks online, preferred
- Experience with insurance reimbursement, preferred
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
