Job Overview
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment for children. What you’ll do

• Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and adapting activities to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and addressing any behavioral challenges with effective strategies.
• Provide individualized attention to students, particularly those with special education needs or disabilities, ensuring they receive the support necessary for success.
• Facilitate small group activities that promote collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking among students.
• Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment that fosters learning and exploration.
• Communicate regularly with teachers about student progress, challenges, and any necessary adjustments to instructional strategies.
• Engage with parents and guardians to provide updates on student development and address any concerns they may have.

Basic qualifications

• Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is essential.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is highly valued.

Preferred qualifications

• Familiarity with special education practices and behavior management techniques.
• Previous experience in preschool or daycare settings is a plus.
• Certification in First Aid or CPR is advantageous.

Pay: $13.50 - $15.50 per hour
