What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server/Cocktail Waitress position at Laugh Factory Comedy Club?
SHIFTS: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 6PM to After Midnight
Laugh Factory Server/Cocktail Waitress Duties Include:
-Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
-Take drink/food orders and inform guests of specialty drinks and promotions
-Enter drinks/food into POS system & deliver them to customers
-Monitor and observe the experience of the guests, ensuring that they are pleased with the service
-Present checks to guests & accurately collect payment
-Bus glassware and clean sections
-Prep the bar area/showroom & maintain a clean service area
-Perform side work and duties requested by the night manager
-Be willing to assist other servers if necessary
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 year experience cocktail serving. 1 - 2 years working in the same workplace.
Must be able to work well in a high volume/high pressure environment
Must have extensive alcohol knowledge
Experience with Toast POS system is a PLUS
Must be able to commit to working 4 nights a week including weekends & holidays
Must have Ca Food Handler Certification & CA RBS Server Certification
Previous Alcohol training is a PLUS
Must have excellent communication & interpersonal skills
Must be detail oriented & a self -starter
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.50 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 25 per week
