We're making content for an audience of collectors and enthusiasts who notice everything: the grain on a pipe, the cut of a tobacco, the difference between a shot that was lit and a shot that just happened. They can tell when you care. They can also tell when you don't.
Your role? You're how a customer sees a product — and understands why it's worth caring about — before they ever hold it.
What You'll Actually Do
Shoot and edit photo and video across our brands — in studio and on location — and carry it all the way through to a finished, publish-ready piece that goes live on YouTube, Instagram, and beyond.

You notice when a shot is slightly off, when a cut lands a beat too late, when the color's not quite there — and it bothers you enough to fix it. You don't hand off work that's "fine." You don't need someone standing over your shoulder, because anything less than your best pisses you off more than it would ever bother them.
You can move fast without cutting corners. We publish constantly, deadlines are real, and sometimes you'll get an assignment with very little notice. That's the job. But volume is never an excuse for work you're not proud of.
You take notes well. When an edit comes back marked up, you don't take it personally — you take it as part of making the thing better.
You're curious. Pipes, cigars, coffee, watches, spirits, whatever — if you've ever gone deep on a hobby where the minutiae actually matter, you already understand our audience. You get why someone would care this much about the details, and you respect it.

What You'll Actually Do

You'll Also
- Shoot product and lifestyle photography, in a controlled studio and out in the field
- Shoot video in both environments, and know the difference in how you have to work in each
- Edit in Premiere Pro, from raw footage to final cut
- Edit stills in Lightroom and Photoshop
- Cut both short-form reels and long-form video, and understand that they're different animals
- Build thumbnails that earn a click without lying about what's behind it
- Publish to YouTube and Instagram, and pay attention to what happens after you hit post
- Bring ideas to the table — you'll work alongside a senior digital media creator, but you're not here to execute someone else's shot list and go home
- Help shape storytelling angles that fit our voice: craft, history, and specificity over hype and clickbait

You Can Expect
- Compensation and benefits: $20.00/hour; health, dental, and vision insurance; six paid holidays; generous PTO; 401(k) with 1:1 match up to 4% and no vesting period.

- A portfolio or reel that shows real fundamentals — product photography, studio and location video, and editing you carried to the finish line. School, personal, and freelance work all count.
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro for video editing.
- Proficiency in Lightroom and Photoshop for photo editing.
- Comfort with thumbnails, short-form reels, and long-form edits alike.
- Working familiarity with YouTube and Instagram as platforms, not just as apps.
- The confidence to offer creative input — and the judgment to know when to just get the shot.
- Curiosity about pipes, cigars, or really any other “deep hobby” world where the minutiae actually matter
- On-site availability in Loris, SC, including in-studio and on-location shoots.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to pass a criminal background check.
