In this direct hire role, you'll be at the forefront of strategic and tactical asset allocation, manager selection, and due diligence for hedge funds and private equity. This role involves direct interaction with leadership and occasional presentations to clients, authoring articles, providing guidance to both team members, leadership and clients. Candidates in this role will be highly analytical, organized and possess excellent communication skills, both written & verbal. Finalist candidates will be requested to provide a writing sample. Key responsibilities:
- Communicate market trends and their impact to Directors
- Develop infrastructure for research and analysis
- Present research findings to the President/CEO and Investment Committee
- Participate in investment decision-making
- Summarize data on investment risks and economic influences
- Recommend and implement investment analytics initiatives
- Review and analyze potential software for investment use
- Ensure compliance with regulations
- Handle administrative responsibilities, including hiring and training
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant business field
- 10 years of related experience
- CFA charter required
- Previous management experience, CPA, and MBA are desirable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Experience with Morningstar software, InvestorForce, and Visual Practice Management and Bloomberg analytic tools is a plus
