Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Help Desk/Low Voltage Technician for a full-time, on-site role located in Atascadero, CA. This role is a balance between in-office help desk work - fielding day-to-day support queries from clients, provide prompt resolutions and excellent customer service - and low voltage on-site work deploying and troubleshooting network, camera, physical security, server, and audio/visual systems.
Our desired candidate would be highly motivated, detail oriented, and adaptable; capable of tackling complex tasks efficiently.
The role includes collaborating with internal teams and clients to ensure prompt and efficient resolution to IT-related problems, as well as maintaining accurate documentation for all troubleshooting and support activities.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Windows Operating System proficiency
- Knowledge of basic command-line troubleshooting
- Strong networking fundamentals
- Experience with Cisco/Meraki hardware preferred
- Previous experience in IT support or related fields preferred
- 4-year degree in Information Technology or equivalent job experience
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network , Security , Server , CCNA, or other IT credentials are an advantage
