- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts, according to the recipes.
- Ensure all food items are properly prepared, cooked, and presented in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen work area, including sanitizing equipment and utensils.
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure safety and quality.
- Assist in the setup, breakdown, and cleaning of kitchen stations and equipment.
- Monitor food inventory levels and communicate shortages or supply needs to the kitchen supervisor.
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
- Assist in receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including temperature control, food storage, and kitchen cleanliness.
- Assist in menu changes or special event preparations as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a cook in a high-volume restaurant or food service setting.
