Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages efficiently during busy shifts, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Engage with guests in a lively manner, providing exceptional customer service that enhances their waterfront experience
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales recording
- Ensure compliance with food safety and food handling regulations while serving food and beverages in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies, cleaning glasses, and adhering to health standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for change and totals
- Collaborate with team members to manage high-volume crowds during peak hours, ensuring smooth operations and guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within high-volume or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient sales processing
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders quickly without sacrificing quality
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and beverage preparation techniques
- Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus; retail math skills are beneficial for cash handling tasks
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a lively waterfront environment
