Location: Manassas, VA
About the Role:
We are hiring a Safety Officer to support commercial construction projects, with exposure to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) scopes.
This position plays a key role in enforcing safety standards, training field personnel, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:Perform on-site safety inspections and audits
Ensure adherence to OSHA and project-specific safety requirements
Lead safety meetings and employee trainings
Conduct incident investigations and root cause analysis
Develop safety documentation including AHAs and PTPs
Partner with project leadership to maintain a safe work environment
Qualifications:
OSHA 30 certification (documentation required)
1–4 years of construction safety experience
Familiarity with commercial construction or MEP projects preferred
Experience with safety documentation and training delivery
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred (Not Required):
Data center project exposure
Additional safety certifications (First Aid/CPR, Fall Protection, MEWP, etc.)
Bilingual (Spanish/English)
