About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, manage financial reporting, maintain internal controls, and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations. This role will play a critical part in supporting the organization's financial health and strategic goals. This position offers hybrid flexibility.
\n- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Coordinate and complete annual audits, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
- Develop, implement, and monitor accounting systems and processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
- Analyze financial information and summarize financial status for management.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes; work closely with department heads to support planning and analysis.
- Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to accounting staff.
- Maintain and enforce a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
- Stay up to date with financial regulations and legislation.
