What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Transportation Driver position at Latitude Transport?
Latitude Transport is hiring for a full time and/or part time driver position. If you enjoy driving and helping your community, this is the job for you. We're new in town and here to stay!
Drivers, or Transportation Specialists as we like to call them, will transport clients to and from their appointments. We provide wheelchair, stretcher, and ambulatory transport.
We offer flexible scheduling, employee bonuses, and PTO (after 12 months of employment).
No CDL required. All training is paid for. $100 bonus after 90 days of continued employment. Applicants should be comfortable with some long drives (Seattle, Spokane, Portland, etc.) and driving in inclement weather.
Qualifications:
-- Live in or within 10 miles of Sunnyside/Grandview
-- 25 years of age or older
-- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and UA.
-- No DUI or felony convictions in the past 10 years (however, certain felonies can exclude an application entirely).
-- CLEAN driving record with 12 months of consecutive driving history.
-- Ability to use a smartphone/tablet and follow GPS.
Previous experience is preferred but certainly not required.
$16.75 - $17.25/hour to start then a raise after 90 days. An Extra $200 if you already have ALL of the credentials for being an NEMT Driver.
