Position Summary: Responsible for the daily management and team performance of the Property Team and will interact with all levels of the organization regarding team performance and productivity. This is a working supervisor role, completing tasks assigned by management, handling claims if needed, and working on projects with supervisors in other departments.
Technical/Functional Responsibilities:
- Subrogation Process - Navigates through our proprietary database and electronic documents to process and resolve claims with subrogation potential.
- Subrogation Knowledge - Ability through experience and education to appropriately handle property subrogation files of moderate to high complexity.
- Team Leadership - Manages a team of subrogation specialists and provides leadership through strategic planning, goal setting, and decision making. Supervisory functions include training, coaching, counseling, and motivating team members.
- Documentation - Prioritize and appropriately document all activities for recovery. Document files including all conversations with all parties related to the claim, in-coming and out-going correspondence, current file updates, subrogation analysis, file resolution recommendations, applicable state negligence laws and statutes.
- Technical Proficiency - Ability to work in multiple computer systems efficiently and understand basic computer programs such as Outlook, Word and Excel.

Required Qualifications:
- 5 plus years of insurance claims supervision with property subrogation experience.
- High School Diploma.
- Typing 45 wpm accurately.
- Computer application knowledge.
- Basic accounting knowledge in order to make accurate computations.
- Thorough knowledge of subrogation principles and property claims.
- Employment is contingent upon the employee maintaining adequate bandwidth for their home internet as determined by Latitude's IT department.
Preferred Qualifications:
- College education or the completion of some college coursework.
- CSRP - Certified Subrogation Recovery Professional designation.
- Claims system knowledge.
- Ability to speak Spanish.
