Latitude Legal is seeking a Michigan-licensed Insurance Defense Litigation Associate (4 years’ experience) for a full-time engagement with a leading Michigan law firm. This is a 2.5-month engagement requiring 40 hours per week, with a hybrid schedule (three days per week in the firm’s Southfield, MI office — Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). The engagement is expected to begin immediately.
This role is well-suited for an experienced insurance defense litigator who can step in quickly, help manage an active caseload, and support a busy litigation team with minimal ramp-up time. The firm is seeking a strong candidate with experience handling premises liability matters.
What You’ll Do Includes
Pay: The annualized pay for this position ranges from $156,000 to $176,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.
Benefits: In addition to pay, all Latitude legal professionals working on contract engagements receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage and are also eligible for full benefits when working 20 hours per week, including group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and complimentary group life, LTD and AD&D insurance. A qualified 401k plan is also available.
