What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Litigation/Disputes Associate (On-Site at Pittsburgh, PA) position at Latitude Legal?
Latitude is assisting a highly regarded AmLaw 100 law firm in its search for a Junior Commercial Litigation/Disputes Associate to join its Pittsburgh office. This is an excellent permanent opportunity for an attorney looking to build experience handling sophisticated commercial litigation matters while receiving strong mentorship and meaningful opportunities for growth.
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in commercial litigation, including general business disputes, multidistrict litigation, and/or class actions in state and federal courts.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in commercial litigation, including general business disputes, multidistrict litigation, and/or class actions in state and federal courts.
Qualifications
- 2 years of commercial litigation experience
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar, or eligibility to sit for the Pennsylvania Bar
- Judicial clerkship and/or law journal experience preferred, but not required
- Should have experience independently conducting legal research, drafting substantive pleadings and motions, and organizing and managing discovery, including e-discovery.
- Strong academic credentials and excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and sound professional judgment
- Commitment to delivering exceptional client service
