In-House Commercial Counsel Attorney, Procurement (Onsite/ Full Time)

The company has a strong in office, in person culture to support collaborate and keeping track of things happening at lightning speed.
Basic Requirements For The In-House Commercial Counsel, Procurement Attorney
Pay: The salary range for this role is $240,000 to $270,000. This position is also eligible for equity compensation and an excellent benefits package. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.
Benefits: In addition to pay, all Latitude attorneys and other legal professionals working on contract engagements receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage for work or acts or omissions provided within the scope of a Latitude-authorized engagement. All Latitude employees (including those on contract engagements) are also eligible for full benefits when working 20 hours per week, including group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and complimentary group life, LTD and AD&D insurance. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.

Basic Requirements For The In-House Commercial Counsel, Procurement Attorney
- Drive deal negotiation and structuring across data center buildouts, real estate transactions, capital equipment purchases, hardware and raw materials sourcing
- Negotiate and oversee power-related agreements, including interconnection contracts, electricity service agreements, power purchase agreements (PPAs), gas supply and transport, water rights, and ERCOT regulatory
- Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts, design-build engineering services, and related project documentation
- Advise on financing structures, tax incentives, complex lease arrangements, permitting workstreams, easement and land use transactions, and project finance components
- Partner closely with engineering, procurement, business development, and finance teams to ensure legal terms align with technical and commercial requirements
- 8 years of legal experience–ideally through a combination of experience at innovative technology or development companies, and/or excellent law firms.
- Deep experience in commercial contracting, with a focus on large scale infrastructure projects.
