What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Designer (Hybrid) position at Latitude Inc?
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to join our building design team. The ideal candidate will develop and coordinate electrical power, lighting, and low-voltage systems for commercial, institutional, and mixed-use facilities. This role works closely with architects, mechanical engineers, and construction teams to produce high-quality, code-compliant designs from concept through construction.
This role is 3 days remote, 2 days onsite in the Charlotte NC area
Salary: $90-105k/yr
\n- Prepare detailed electrical design drawings, schematics, and specifications for building projects (commercial, healthcare, education, residential, etc.).
- Design power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, life-safety, and low-voltage systems in compliance with NEC, NFPA, and local codes.
- Coordinate electrical layouts with architectural, mechanical, and structural disciplines to ensure seamless integration of all building systems.
- Develop equipment schedules and panel board layouts, and produce accurate construction documents.
- Conduct site visits for field verification, punch lists, and as-built documentation.
- 4 years related work experience
- Electrical Design experience
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical engineering or related field
