Controller (SaaS/ NetSuite Experience)

Position Summary:The Controller will lead the company’s accounting operations and financial reporting for a high-growth SaaS organization. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and scaling accounting processes to support growth. The ideal candidate has deep SaaS industry experience, strong technical accounting knowledge, and hands-on expertise with NetSuite. This position features two days of remote work per week.#LATResponsibilities:Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets, and revenue accountingLead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and timelinessManage SaaS-specific accounting areas including revenue recognition (ASC 606), deferred revenue, subscriptions, usage-based billing, and customer contractsOwn and maintain NetSuite, including system configuration, reporting, integrations, and process improvementsPrepare and review financial statements in accordance with US GAAPDevelop and enforce internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and scalabilityPartner with FP&A, Sales Ops, and Revenue Operations to ensure accurate billing, forecasting, and reportingSupport audits, tax filings, and regulatory requirements; serve as primary contact for external auditorsMonitor cash flow, working capital, and key SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, churn, LTV, CAC)Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team as the organization scalesAssist with system implementations, process automation, and continuous improvement initiatives
