CAD Drafter (Residential Projects)

The Residential AutoCAD Drafter supports the design and construction process by creating accurate, detailed drawings and plans for residential projects, including new builds, remodels, and additions. This role involves translating design concepts, sketches, and specifications into precise construction documents using AutoCAD (and potentially Revit or other CAD software). The drafter will collaborate closely with architects, designers, engineers, and project managers to ensure all drawings meet design intent, building codes, and client requirements.

This role is fully onsite

Salary: $26-31/hour

• Prepare and revise AutoCAD drawings for residential floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Interpret architectural sketches, markups, and redlines into clear and accurate working drawings.
• Ensure drawings comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and company drafting standards.
• Maintain organized drawing files, layer structures, and drawing templates according to office standards.
• Perform as-built measurements and field verification when required.
• Update drawings based on design revisions, client feedback, or change orders.

• 3 years drafting experience on residential projects
• Proficiency with AutoCAD
