Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Front of House Manager to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive hospitality management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining efficient restaurant operations to provide an outstanding dining experience for guests.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff, including training and development to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Oversee food service management, including food preparation, handling, and presentation standards
  • Manage Toast POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
  • Monitor inventory control to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing waste
  • Oversee shift management, ensuring smooth transitions between shifts and optimal staffing levels
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards in the dining area
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to enhance guest satisfaction
  • Assist in hiring, interviewing, and onboarding new team members
  • Collaborate with kitchen management to coordinate food production and service flow
  • Manage budgets related to front-of-house operations and contribute to overall restaurant profitability
  • Scheduling for FOH staff utilizing Hotschedules.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality management roles, preferably in casual or fine dining settings
  • Extensive knowledge of food industry standards, food safety protocols, and kitchen operations
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in staff training, supervision, and team management
  • Proficiency with POS systems such as Toast POS; cash handling experience required
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively
  • Background in food preparation, culinary experience, or kitchen management is a plus
  • Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and food safety compliance
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous; previous assistant manager or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interview candidates and lead staff development initiatives

Pay: $48,804.13 - $58,774.87 per year
