Reports to: VP, Sales & Customer Experience
Position Summary
The Account Manager position will report to the VP of Sales, and Customer Experience. This key position will be focused on the support of several strategic accounts. It will involve partnership and collaboration with supply chain, marketing, and R&D contacts within these key customers. It will also require extensive collaboration with internal customer service, product development, planning, supply chain, and operations teams. The responsibility will be to develop and guide the implementation of account-specific growth and performance plans that achieve profitability and sales targets. This individual will serve as the primary day-to-day account contact for new and existing sales within assigned accounts.

Qualifications & Experience
- BS in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of customer-facing experience in a Sales, Customer Service or Supply Chain related role within the food industry preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with ERP Systems
- Ability to travel to other sites (Corona, Salinas, Ohio)

As an Account Manager your core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Takes ownership of assigned accounts and works with VP, Sales and Customer Experience to design strategies to increase service levels and to support account penetration and sales growth through new item launches.
- Works with internal teams to solve supply chain or fulfillment issues through cross-functional communication and planning.
- Strategically identify and target key divisions within assigned accounts to drive new business opportunities.
- Facilitate pricing requests with product development and other key departments to support new products or price adjustments to existing items.
- Work both internally and externally to support forecasting process and to obtain forecasts and clarification from accounts when necessary.
- To analyze sales results of his/her accounts and determine variance from budget.
- To align and gather needed data from internal partners for key performance metrics as requested by and developed with assigned accounts.
- Coordinates product LTO’s and discontinuation with key accounts with support from R&D, procurement and commercial teams.
- To work cross-functionally with production, customer logistics, quality/food safety, R&D, category management, marketing, sourcing and transportation to fully leverage company capabilities and expertise.
- In-person meetings with key account contacts as necessary at Latitude36 or customer facilities.
- Participate as needed in national and regional trade shows.
- Other duties as assigned.
- While performing the duties of this Job, the team member is regularly required to talk and hear.
- The team member is frequently required to stand, walk, walk up and down stairs, sit, and use their hands and fingers to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
- The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
