Role Description The Project Superintendent role is a full-time, on-site position based in Frisco, TX. The individual in this role will oversee daily on-site operations for roofing and construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with company quality standards. Responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors and crews, monitoring project progress, managing materials and equipment, and resolving issues that arise in the field. The Project Superintendent will also communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and inspectors, maintain accurate documentation and reports, and enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance. This role requires consistent presence on the job site to lead teams, support efficient workflows, and facilitate successful project delivery.
Qualifications
- Supervisory Skills: Ability to lead field teams, coordinate subcontractors, and manage day-to-day site operations.
- Commercial Construction: Experience with commercial roofing or construction projects, including scheduling and coordination of trades.
- Quality Control: Proven ability to inspect work, enforce standards, and ensure projects meet specifications and client expectations.
- Construction Safety: Knowledge of OSHA requirements and strong focus on job-site safety practices and compliance.
- Budgeting: Experience monitoring costs, supporting budget adherence, and assisting with resource allocation.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities on active job sites.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with crews, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and related documentation.
- Proficiency with basic project management and reporting tools; familiarity with construction management software is beneficial.
- Relevant experience as a superintendent or foreperson in roofing or construction; industry certifications or technical training are a plus.
