Role Description The Bilingual Mental Health Therapist is a full-time, on-site role based in Oklahoma City, OK. This position provides individual, family, and group counseling to children, youth, and adults, using culturally and linguistically responsive approaches. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, delivering evidence-informed interventions, and coordinating care with internal programs and external partners. The therapist maintains accurate and timely clinical documentation, participates in case consultations, and contributes to program improvement and outcome tracking. This role also involves outreach, psychoeducation, and collaboration with families and community stakeholders to support holistic wellness and strengthen community resilience.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Mental Health assessment and intervention with diverse populations.
- Proficiency in Family Therapy, including work with children, youth, caregivers, and multi-generational households.
- Experience in Treatment Planning focused on measurable goals, culturally responsive care, and ongoing progress review.
- Background in Social Work practice, including advocacy, resource linkage, and strengths-based engagement.
- Case Management skills to coordinate services, support continuity of care, and navigate community resources.
- Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written) to deliver bilingual services and documentation.
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related behavioral health field; licensure or eligibility for licensure in Oklahoma (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LADC) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and family-centered practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and maintain professional boundaries and ethics.
