Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of youth involved in violence-related incidents to identify needs and risks.
- Develop individualized intervention plans that promote positive behavioral changes and support youth development.
- Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during emergency situations to ensure safety and stability.
- Coordinate with families, schools, law enforcement, Juvenile courts, and community organizations to facilitate holistic care and resource access.
- Monitor progress through regular follow-ups, adjusting intervention strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
- Maintain detailed case records, documentation of services provided, and progress reports in compliance with agency policies.
- Advocate for children’s safety by collaborating on child protective services cases and ensuring adherence to child welfare standards.
Skills
- Proven experience working with children and adolescents in high-pressure environments.
- Spanish Speaking required
- Expertise in crisis intervention techniques and crisis management strategies.
- Familiarity with family law, conflict management, and behavioral health principles encouraged.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with youth, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy, professionalism, and discretion.
- Competency in conflict resolution, behavioral health assessment, and case planning to support positive youth outcomes.
