Duties
Bartender/FOH:
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and adhere to proper food safety standards.
- Manage time efficiently during busy hours to serve multiple customers promptly while maintaining high-quality service.
- As part of the FOH team, you are also expected to assist in other FOH duties with your team. These include running food, bussing tables, and helping with dishes during clean up.
- You are also expected to provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring guests have a positive experience.
Kitchen Staff:
- Assist in the preparation and plating of food items, maintaining cleanliness and food safety protocols at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Manage time efficiently during busy hours to serve multiple customers promptly while maintaining high-quality service.
- Being comfortable working with the other kitchen staff and follow direction to ensure a positive environment.
Experience
- Must be 21
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
- Previous experience working in a restaurant, or bar is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques is essential.
- Strong skills in customer service, cash handling, and basic math are required to ensure smooth operations.
- Nightclub or brewing experience can be a plus for roles involving beverage preparation or bar management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail.
