A little about the position: CNC Operator

Job Summary:

A CNC Operator supports daily machining operations while gaining hands-on experience in CNC programming, set-up, and production processes. This role provides exposure to advanced manufacturing environments, including 5-axis CNC machining, inspection processes, and shop operations.

Some of What You Will Do:

• Assist with set-up and operation of 5-axis CNC machines under supervision
• Perform continuous inspection of parts during milling to ensure quality standards are met
• Run and verify CNC programs as directed by the programmer or supervisor
• Support routine shop and machine maintenance activities
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Assist in assembling foam structures for machining processes
• Provide support to the main programmer with daily tasks and project work
• Inspect tooling for wear or damage and report issues promptly
  
  

What You Bring to the Table: (Qualifications)

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a technical program (e.g., TCAT or similar) in CNC machining, manufacturing, or a related field
• Basic understanding of CNC operations and machining principles
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Willingness to learn and take direction in a hands-on environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment

Status: Full-time

Salary Range: $24.00/hr. - $25.00/hr.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across US geographic markets. Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
