A little about the position:
Job Summary:
The Mold Maintenance Technician position is responsible for maintaining & refurbishing molds in accordance with SOPs, ensuring Production readiness. Starting pay is $21.69 per hour.
Some of What You Will Do:
- Understand & know how to use MSDSs.
- Learn small cosmetic repairs initially, enhancing your skill set to large repairs.
- Gain knowledge on how to maintain & repair mold floor texture.
- Follow initiator catalyst chart for proper curing.
- Assist with leveling out of molds.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Bring to the Table: (Qualifications)
- Experience using various hand tools.
- Ability to problem solve, effectively evaluating a difficult problem & come to resolution using relative work knowledge.
- Ability to stand for prolonged times as well as frequent bending, reaching, stooping, overhead work and lifting up to forty (40) pounds.
- Must be able to work overtime, including some Saturdays.
- Ability to work in a safe manner utilizing PPE as required.
