This is a full-time, on-site role located in Birmingham, MI, for a Legal Assistant/Paralegal. The selected candidate will assist attorneys with legal research, prepare legal documents, and maintain case files. They will also provide administrative support, manage communications with clients, schedule appointments, and ensure that case-related paperwork meets deadlines and compliance standards. Additional responsibilities may include coordinating with external parties and maintaining meticulous records of case proceedings.
- Knowledge of Law and experience with Legal Document Preparation
- Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with clients, attorneys, and external parties
- Proficiency in Administrative Assistance and organizational tasks
- Experience as a Legal Assistant or in paralegal work
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with legal terminology and case management software is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or related field preferred
