Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Blueberry Production Line Worker to join our dynamic agricultural team. In this role, you will be integral to the efficient operation of our blueberry processing line, ensuring high-quality production standards are met while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Your hands-on involvement will help us deliver fresh, premium blueberries to markets and customers on site while supporting sustainable farming practices and operational excellence.
Duties
- Operate and monitor blueberry processing machinery and equipment, including sorting, packing, and packaging lines
- Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting, stacking, and moving crates of blueberries with precision and care, weight no more than 25 pounds.
- Follow strict safety standards in production areas to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations and safe food practices
Skills
- Basic math skills for measurements in packing boxes
- Ability to operate blueberry fresh pack line after training which may include winnowing berries fresh off the field, sorting blueberries on conveyor line, managing conveyor lines in a safe efficiently while adhering to safety standards and boxing blueberries for customer
- Latham Blueberry Farms will train upon hire
