Role: Project Team Lead
Location: Harrisburg, PA for 2' days a week
Role Description The Project Team Lead is a contract role responsible for guiding cross-functional project teams through the full lifecycle of client engagements. This hybrid position is based in Harrisburg, PA, with some work-from-home flexibility. This position would be responsible for assisting with the development of policies and procedures, development and implementation of monitoring tools, provide technical assistance to support various project and implementation teams, provide project management services, coordination of training strategies, managing day-to-day operational aspects of multiple large-scale projects.
This position will provide program/project management support for several initiatives, projects, and procurements within CLIENT’s Bureau of Fee for Service. The position supports the tracking of CLIENT procurement activities to include renewal and reporting dates as well as monitors upcoming procurements. The position also acts as an CLIENT program office liaison for Procurement activities.
Qualifications
- Project leadership skills, including experience leading cross-functional teams, coordinating tasks, and managing timelines and deliverables.
- Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage clients, employees, and partners in collaborative problem-solving.
- Business analysis and critical thinking skills to understand root causes, define requirements, and translate business challenges into practical solutions.
- Exposure to technology implementation and process improvement, including experience working with technology teams and supporting change management.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and adapt messaging to different audiences.
- Proven ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site collaboration in Harrisburg, PA with independent work from home.
- Prior experience in consulting, project management, or innovation-focused roles is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a scrum master project manager with a overall experience of 7 years in project management
- PMP / PMI certifications
- Possess a 4 year College degree or equivalent technical study related to project management
- Development and implementation of monitoring tools, project plans for at least 4 years
